Evolution

The history of RWL starts in the year 1972. As PPL/CPL/IFR flying school, already back then the staff was highly motivated for providing excellent training opportunities – and this has not changed ever since.
During the last decades, a lot has changed. The small flying school developed into one of the most modern and largest training centers for commercial pilots in Germany.
The biggest step was taken in 1989 when the current training center was built. The new facilities with modern classrooms offer the best possible training and studying environment for our students. We also built a new home for our aircraft fleet – a hangar with connected assembly area with a total of 1750m². Furthermore, we could start with the creation of our simulator center with currently 2 Boeing 737 simulators. In order to harmonize with the training courses, we are continuously investing in new aircrafts and training equipment.
