The Multi-Crew Co-operation (MCC)

The Multi-crew cooperation is part of the ATPL training and is the last module before the Type Rating. The training can be arranged with us on a Boeing B737 Full Flight Simulator or a Beech B200 FNPT II. The course provides students with opportunities to practice the skills that are necessary to be effective team members and leaders. RWL training exercises include students as crew members in 10 hours pilot flying and 10 hours pilot monitoring roles on an Full Flight Simulator.

Training course

The RWL multi-crew cooperation course B737 comprises at least:

  • 18 hours classroom introduction spread over min. 3 days and
  • 7 hours supplementary procedure training in the training crews
  • 20 hours of practical training in the B737 full flight simulator

Pre-defined training (real-world scenarios) and resource management prepare student pilots for the later training using LOFT (line orientated flight training).

Requirements

  • The holder of a PPL(A) shall hold a valid class 2 medical certificate including a pure tone audiometry examination. The holder of a CPL(A) shall hold a valid class 1 medical certificate.
  • The applicant for the MCC(A) modular course:

    • shall have sufficient knowledge of the German and / or English language to follow the training course and shall comply with the language proficiency requirements according to FCL.055.
    • shall be the holder of a PPL(A) or a CPL(A), including a valid instrument rating.
  • The applicant for the MCC-course shall provide:

    • Proof of identity (identity card or passport)
    • Declaration on pending criminal proceedings
